This application is well known for many Japanese learners because its functions are well developed. If you also need to prepare for taking JLPT, you can also use their JLPT practice function to prepare yourself for the exam. You can also use the flashcards function to build up your vocabulary. If you enter your entry, it is not only the definition is given, but the conjugation of the target word will also be presented to you. Unlike English, there are different conjugations in Japanese, so this is a good application to start up your learning!
JISHO (LAPTOP VERSION)
This is an online Japanese dictionary. It is user-friendly because you can simply type your target word in English translation and then you will get the Japanese one. If you want to search for Japanese Kanji words, you can also use their Draw and/or Radicals functions to type the words. It is not difficult to use at any rate!
